CQM Compact Cylinder with Guides Made to Order in Los Angeles and Indianapolis

The CQM Cylinder 12 thru 63mm bores are available "Made to Order" from SMC's Los Angeles production facility. The 80 and 100mm bores are available as "Make to Order" for SMC's Indianapolis production facility. Both facilities can produce all bore/stroke combinations from the catalog in both metric and inch versions.

All bore sizes are included in a finished goods stocking plan for common bore, strokes and options.

The CQM cylinder incorporates slide bearings into the CQS/CQ2 extrusion, which creates an extremely compact guided cylinder.

The CQM Guided Compact Cylinder is designed for non rotation and side loading applications. The tool plate is available with locating pin holes and tapped holes for mounting. Rubber cushions are standard.

Available Bores: 12, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80, 100

Key Advantages:

· Very compact guided cylinder: The cross sectional area and mounting pattern are the same as series CQS and CQ2. The 12 to 25 bore cylinders utilize the CQS extrusion, and the 32 to 100 bore cylinders utilize the CQ2 extrusion.

· Excellent non-rotating accuracy: o ±0.2° for bore sizes 12 and 16 o ±0.1° for bores 20 to 100mm

· Designed to allow for easy mounting and adjustment of SMC's extensive selection of position sensing switches

· 2 to 4 times the lateral load resistance of the CQS/CQ2

· All inch mounting and tool plate threads available (use "NN" after the bore size)

· Fills a product gap between low side load non rotating cylinders and higher load guide rod actuators, such as the MGP/MGQ
