Nireco America is a consolidated subsidiary of Nireco Corporation, global technology company providing a wide range of process control, measuring and quality assurance systems for the printing, packaging, chemical, mobile, steel, automotive, electronics, and aerospace industries. Their product line up boasts an impressive array of systems for web printing, web converting, steel strip manufacturing, hydraulic control, motion control and tire manufacturing, that include on-line color monitoring, automatic register control, print quality inspection, differential and spiral bevel gearboxes, linear actuators, gluing systems, brakes, servo valves, image-analysis, and hydraulic/pneumatic controls, all designed to give total support to the various production processes.
The company currently known as Nireco made its start when in 1921, when German enterprise Askania Werke AG established its Japanese corporation Askania. Eventually, Askania was to be succeeded by Nippon Regulator and the company became a developer and manufacturer of process automation systems, carving a name for itself as a pioneer in automatic control. In 1984, the name was officially changed to Nireco. In 1989, Nireco became a publicly traded company.
In December 2000, Nireco Corporation and Conics Systems, Inc. announced the establishment of a new subsidiary in North America, Nireco America Corporation. Fully absorbing Conic Systems, an engineering and manufacturing company serving the printing and converting industries since in 1968, Nireco America was founded on a strong base of manufacturing and service. In June of 2004, Nireco America fully acquired Datatran Lab’s Inc., a New York based controls manufacturer serving the fluid power industries. United States engineering and manufacturing is located in Orange County New York. A technical center for product testing and demonstration was established in Carlstadt, New Jersey, in partnership with SUN Chemical Corporation in 2005. The company has access to over 140 international patents and provides service and support to the Nireco, Conic, and Datatran product lines. Today, the Nireco Group has engineering, manufacturing, sales, and service facilities on three continents providing worldwide support and technology to the industries it serves.
In today's global competitive marketplace, factors such as effective use of resources and energy make automation and standardization of paramount importance throughout industry. As a provider of systems indispensable for today’s industrial production, Nireco has succeeded in making the effective implementation of automatic control a reality. |
