| In the late 1800’s,
Watts Regulator Company, made its reputation
by "Setting The Standard In Valve Technology." During those early
days, Watts manufactured pressure reducing valves to regulate steam, and
relief valves to ensure safe operation of water heaters and boilers.
In the rapidly expanding water quality markets of the 1970’s, Watts
began to experience accelerated growth by introducing new products such
as backflow preventers.
Through its most recent
fiscal year, Watts Regulator Company, grew to more
than $800 million in annual sales. This steady growth was accomplished
through new product development and a series of acquisitions of valve
companies and valve product lines that complemented its core products.
Watts has expanded its valve product line to address the flow
control needs of the plumbing and heating and water quality markets. The
broad array of valves offered by Watts now enables many of its customers
to purchase all of their plumbing and heating and water quality flow control
solutions from one source.
Watts Regulator Company headquarters
are at 815 Chestnut Street in North Andover, Massachusetts, U.S.A. The
company has manufacturing plants and distribution channels in North America, Europe, and controlled joint ventures in The People’s Republic of China. At Watts, "Setting
The Standard In Valve Technology" isn’t just a slogan, it’s
the way they’ve done business since 1874.
